Richarlison will improve Tottenham’s squad but he wouldn’t get into Arsenal’s starting XI, believes Jack Wilshere.
The Everton forward is closing in on a £50million move to Spurs, who have had a very productive transfer window.
Wilshere says the Brazilian ‘could be one to watch’ at Spurs, however, Richarlison wouldn’t be guaranteed a start in Mikel Arteta’s first team.
“I think he improves the squad, definitely… he gives them something different,” Wilshere told talkSPORT.
“I wouldn’t say I’m gutted [he’s not signed for Arsenal].
“He’s 25, so not young. There comes a point where you’re going to have to turn that potential into something but to be fair if any one can do it, it’s Antonio Conte.
“I wouldn’t say I’m devastated as an Arsenal fan but he could be one to watch, he could be really good.”
And when asked if he’d have Richarlison at Arsenal, Wilshere said: “Yeah but I don’t think he gets in the XI.

“He’d definitely challenge for it and be a good part of the squad but I don’t think he gets in the XI.”
Richarlison will be the latest signing in an exciting transfer window, who have also brought in Yves Bissouma, Ivan Perisic and Fraser Forster.
It’s been suggested that Spurs could catch up with Manchester City and Liverpool and Wilshere jokes he has plans to go far, far away if Antonio Conte’s men win the Premier League.
Asked what he’d do if Spurs were to become champions, Wilshere said: “I’m moving to Australia if that ever happens!”
